  • Hair advice?

Hey everyone, I'm soliciting advice from people about what to do with my hair next. It's been driving me crazy lately.

I used to do it all different colors when I was a little younger, but I've been trying to be professional lately (so no fun colors pictured, unless you request it).

Oh, and I posted these as links because I didn't want this to be horrifically long and spamish.

Here are my last few hairstyles:

    Latest:

Any ideas would be helpful. Any input. Thanks.

How do you look with a shorter-than-chin-length style? Have you tried one? If not, can you go to a salon that also has wigs, and try on a wig with a short style, and see how that looks on you?

If your face is not too round, a short pixie cut may look great. (I can't quite tell in the images)

I prefer the choppy or layered ends on you to the straight ends; and I think you look better with a fringe than without - though both the straight and the parted fringe look good.
    Seshat's self-help guide:
    1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
    2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
    3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
    4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

I've done close to the chin, but never shorter. I'm not sure, but it scares me a little. But right now I'm in the mood to try anything.

My face is quite round, so it's hard not to look like a pig in a wig, so I try to be careful. My sister has been cutting my hair since I was 12, so she'll pretty much do anything that I ask.

I had my hair chopped off (well, to me it was because I'd kept my hair at chest length or longer since I was an older teen), and I kind of made up my own 'do and had a really trusted friend who is a stylist do it for me.

On top, it's an inverted bob, but I left some length, about shoulder length, and had that cut into really whispy shaggy layers.

I missed my long hair too much to really enjoy it, but it's really an interesting hair do that I think almost any girl could pull off.

Mm. With a round face you don't want to add width anywhere near the cheekbones. So it'd be ultra-short, which is a pain to grow out, or chin length and longer.

http://beauty.about.com/od/hairstyle.../roundfa_5.htm could look good on you.

Rihanna's asymmetrical bob at http://www.hairstyledigest.com/celeb...ob-hairstyles/ might be something more exciting to try.

[QUOTE=Whiskey;764869]I'd grow it out if I were you. I think one of the styles I used to have might look cute. I have a more oval face though.

That hairstyle is very sexy on you. I would love to look that good.

                Aw, thanks!

I think I will try to chop it fairly short, since I haven't done that before, and it seems to be well fitted to my face.
