  • Looking for Jolt gum, cola

I used to buy Jolt chewing gum at Flying J, but when they got taken over by Pilot they stopped selling it. Has anyone encountered another chain that sells both the green (spearmint) and blue (icy mint) flavours? I've seen the green at the Sheetz in Breezewood PA, but they don't sell the blue.

Also, on the "products" page of the Jolt website, it showed their cola, in cases of 12 ounce cans, as still being available - I thought it was long gone. Anyone know of a chain where I can buy it?

I'm particularly interested in an outlet in Buffalo, NY (closest U.S. city to where I live) - the Sheetz I mentioned happened to be within walking distance of a truck stop in Breezewood where I had an overnight stop. Thanks for this info.

The site says Aide of Right, and 8/12 stores. (I am sure you can figure out which actual stores those mean). That is for the cola.

http://www.joltgum.com/Merchant2/products.html you can buy the gum online it seems. Kinda expensive tho. CVS apparently carries it, but maybe only online????

Mail order is tough for me (companies usually ship via 3rd party couriers, and due to the nature of my job and the building I live in, I can't receive deliveries from such companies, only the post office). Also, cases of pop are heavy (i.e. expensive shipping). I was looking for a "walk-in" - since a trip to Buffalo would cost (fuel and tolls) roughly the same as typical shipping costs for something the weight and size of 2 or 3 dozen cans of pop. Guess I'll have to dig out the online phone book and call Buffalo-area outlets of the stores on the Jolt site.

This would be THE best place for the flat rate boxes. Up to 70 lbs and fits in the box neatly... It ships

Another item I'm looking for (preferably in the Greater Toronto area) is Florida Tropic brand break-apart dark chocolate oranges.

In my family, break-apart chocolate oranges are a traditional Christmas gift. Slight problem - my brother is a vegan, and most places sell the Terry's chocolate oranges. Terry's dark chocolate oranges include milk ingredients, so they're out. Florida Tropic has "may contain traces of milk", but that's a lawyer's CYA for anything made in the same factory that also makes milk chocolate. If there's another brand out there that doesn't have milk ingredients in the dark chocolate, that's fine too. Thanks.
