  • My own wierd medical.

I'd rather not see a doctor yet, because it's been proven time and time again, that I tend to have to go them for years before I get a response on anything. I just cannot afford it.

It's hard to explain it on top of it, but it's starting to get wierd.

I guess the first sign is the fact that I can... hear? my eye move. Well, at least sounds like a wind movement, and pressure behind my eyes. More like a wave or woosh, like fwooooooo when I'm moving the eye, and when it stops like a bang, and tiny shocklike waves I feel. Doesn't hurt, but some go down my back.

Seems worst during sleep. I normally dream wierd stuff, but at least I can move in them. Dreams lately, not so much at all. I'm usually paralized in my dreams. Or feel extremly tired. Which makes me feel like it has to do with the muscles and/or nerves the affect the REM of my eyes. I feel far far more tired after waking up after those dreams, and feel really dizzy, confused/disoriented and in general a fuzzy feeling. Like I'm a stuffed animal with fur.

....I know it's all wierd. Just like an idea where to start, rather then get another huge fat bills for lots nad lots of doctors to shrug and go oh well, we don't know.

    Go see an Eye Dr!

Yeah I got no clue on that one I would definitely see an eye dr rather than a general one.

Um. I've heard of this before. Bear with me, because I can't find the info anywhere, so I'm going on memory.

It's a perfectly harmless occurrence, where the auditory and ocular nerves get a bit of a crossed circuit. There's not much that can be done about it, but there's no real danger in it either.

Mine hasn't. Very annoying. Makes me dizzy. It's damn near constant if my eyes even think about moving.

It's the worst when I'm laying down, or eyes closed. Like freaking ocean waves in the middle of my head. Like my real head. Behind the eyes.

Double vision too. I forgot that, but so use to that after so many years of it, it just slipped.

based on what little is known this is a guess its a tumor in your brain or pressure on the eyes from behind or on the nerves themselves or too much fluid

When it comes to eyes, I recommend going to the Dr asap.
It's not too difficult to sit on the internet, google your symptoms and get massively varying diagnoses from, drinking too much water, to tumour, to allergic reaction.
I understand your reluctance to go to a Dr, is there someone to recommend their Dr?

I hope this gets sorted one way or another for you

I'd just rather have a better idea of what it is is all.

Last half dozen times I've been to a doctor over health issues, it's been a long, drawn out process causing me thousands of dollars.

Now I have no insurence, so that long drawn out process, is no longer thousands, but tens of thousands. So I need to make it freaking count. Despite making it count when I had it.

Doctors are the biggest smart idiots in the world. Make someone come in repeatedly for more and more and more and more tests, only to shrug and go oh well, go see doctor b. You go to doctor be and again, take the exact same tests you just did over nad over and over and over again, to only have him shrug and go oh well, go to doctor C, and repeat.

Seriously, my last one was the worst. Despite every freaking doctor flat out stating that I did need a hip replacement, none would do it until xrays looked like my hips were just about to snap in half. I'd rather not have it repeat over and over and over again until my eyes have to be removed.

It does sound like an eye doctor appointment would be a good idea.

I just found this article online, it's a couple years old so I don't know if it's all still useful or not, but it's a guide to cheap health care alternatives in Portland: http://www.portlandmercury.com/news/...ent?oid=844310

I'm really sorry if this comes across wrong, or insensitive.

I forgot that not everyone has access to free healthcare and doctors appointments. It's easy for me to sit here and says 'just go to the doctor' but financially, it may not be as simple as that.
Is there no way you can get insurance and then go to the doctor (I'll admit, I have no idea what is involved in health care insurance)

He used to have insurance when he worked....but that is gone now. I don't know how it's going with the disability people....or trying to get on Oregon Health Plan.
