I currently have a Facial Piercing. It's a small partial hoop with two metal bits, in my eyebrow.
Since I'm working food service and they changed the rules, I have to remove it, meaning it'll heal over before my shift is done.
My question is: Why is it considered a Health hazard after it's done healing? I could understand if it was before it was in six months, when you can have infections. (If your piercing hasn't healed over in six months or so, take it out, it probably never will.)
Secondary question, after I graduate, should I get it redone and be able to expect to get a job? I'm going into the art field, where people are almost expected to be nuts. My first few wage slavery positions will probably be as interns or some other sort of Studio Minion.

All jewelry is pretty much considered a health hazard for the sheer aspect of introducing foreign objects. I couldn't wear earrings when I cooked for a living. I did wear my wedding/engagement rings, but most employers won't ask you to take them off for the sheer liability of potentially losing it. I constantly wore gloves over them, though, and they don't have protruding rocks.
He is my Black Dragon (and yes, a good one) strong, protective, the guardian. I am his Silver Dragon, always by his side, shining for him, cherishing him.
