OP, I know you said you don't have money for a doctor. That what sliding scale means--they try to adjust fees to your income. Call your local women's health place. If they can't help you, ask them about other places that can. Don't let your dislike of hormonal birth control stop you. Maybe an IUD would be good. Maybe you would do well with a cervical cap. You have options but you need to see a doc/nurse practioner/etc.
