Just a quick whine / gripe.

I think the people on my FB really don't look at accounts when they send out their invites to events.

One girl keeps sending me invites to all her concerts. Even though I've never gone to a single one... even when I lived in the same city.

But now... Um, yeah I'm over 800 miles away. it's a safe bet to assume I'm not coming.

I've got a couple people who just invite EVERYONE.

On the store account, we have people who invite us to every. single. event. no matter where it is. We don't respond to any of them.

I don't mind getting invites from all over the world, most of the time.

It's just the NJ crew that seems to have forgotten that I'm in WI now...

I get event invites from the US every so often. I figure it's better than not being invited.

Got an invite from a guy I knew briefly, in Italy. Said he was killing himself in the middle of nowhere.

Equal parts annoyed (I do not know you well enough for you to worry me) and relieved (I do not have to worry), I found out he was just moving his Facebook postings to his bands page. Or something. I didn't pay much attention.

I get annoyed by the "auto invite" people who invite people from everywhere in the world to their Lia Sofia party or baby showers.

He used that as his status message instead of just posting "i'm moving my posts over" ...? that's pretty messed up.

to be honest not being invited is fine with me too. i've gone months without checking fb. in fact the only reason i log into it these days is to just post pictures of my dog.
