My sister told me to get the discount store sport bras that run around $7 apiece, and wear two, with the one closer to the skin being one numeric size small. Of course I promptly dislocated my foot after she told me this, so I haven't tried it for myself yet. But she seems happy as a clam like that, even doing competitive and long-distance running in some fairly nasty climates.

Then again she's also perfectly happy drinking bad coffee out of a sheet of paper fashioned into a cone-shaped cup, long as it's hot and caffeinated, so it could be that she just doesn't expect a whole lot....

      My experience:
Mah boobs are hurtin when I trot/jog.
I bought a sports bra @ a sport store, think the brand is Go On. I used that over an underwire bra. My girls STILL jiggled enough to be uncomfortable.
Today I was @ Old Navy and saw there were sports bras on sale for $10 each. I picked the Low Impact one, and will wear Go On bra under the Old Navy one. I tried jogging in place with the Low Impact and didn't feel too much jiggling.

This is where you wish boobs were auto inflatable. pssshssh down to a B....psshshshsh up to your own size.

        I'm a G cup.

My sports bra is used for anything where I'm going to be doing anything significant. It's sweat-wicking, has padded straps, and importantly, the band fits snugly around my underbust. The cups hold firmly, and just barely on the 'too snug' side when at rest. When moving, however, it's wonderful.

        It's also a soft-cup - no wires.

        1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
        2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
        3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
        4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

When working at The Chemists a few of the girls there had similar conundrums. The solution that apparently worked quite well was a sports bra under a sports top that had built in support. Your mileage will of course vary and it's probably best to try a few ideas to find what works best for you.

I'm chestily advantaged myself, and do quite a bit of walking/jogging/running. Since highschool I've always doubled up on sports bras. I look for the high impact ones, and try to combine a normal over shoulder boulder holder with a racer back. What you really need is a thick under boob strap, and thick shoulder straps, with a good breathable material. One of the best rated sports bras I've seen (whose name escapes me) is almost a vest as it goes down to the bottom of your rib cage. Unfortunately it costs nearly a grand here (about... 80 quid? 120 dollars?) which is a little steep for me...

Here is the link I was looking for earlier. I have yet to work up the courage to invest in one, but I've heard good things about these: http://www.lynxsportswear.com/

Has anyone here tried a long-line for sports support?

I don't do physical things, so I have no other input.

                  My report:
Today I went to gym. I wore my regular underwire bra, the Go Fit medium sports bra and another sports bra (low impact) over that.
I had almost no tits. Kinda good, actually.

I was on the treadmill and had no problems walking quickly. I tried jogging for a few seconds, my boobs were actually ok. Mind you, this is THREE things squishing them. (tbh my stomach made more jiggle than my tits did here i has a sad )

I only wear this one bra and it holds me in well with no pain/too much jiggling.
Just get one that fits really well!

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled thread.

The Freya bra looks intriguing. I will definitely have to take a closer look at it.

I think I will try the layering thing, as I already own some sport bras. But it will be a while before I can jog.
