  • Resources for stop-motion animation

I'm considering learning stop motion animation for the sake of creating a music video. I have the entire concept laid out in my head. I've studied cell and computer animation before, but I'm looking to do paper cut out stop motion for this project. Are there any books or websites I should check out? I'm not a total noobie as I understand concepts like key frames and and film speed, but I've never really looked into this style. I'd appreciate any advice or feedback!

I was in my local Half Price Books yesterday and saw a book near the front on the history of stop-motion animation. Yeah, it's history, but they might have things on what worked and what didn't (so you know what NOT to try). I believe HPB can ship to other stores, so if your store doesn't have it or there is no store nearby, try ordering it online.
