Does anyone know what chains (in the Greater Toronto Area) are selling the Dremel pumpkin carving kit? It's got their 2-speed cordless rotary tool with a pack that holds 4 "AA" batteries, instead of with a rechargeable battery pack. Since the rechargeable pack is one of the more expensive parts of the tool (according to the Dremel FAQ page), and I have plenty of AA rechargeables, this should be a fairly cheap way to get the tool. Thanks for the info.

I don't know the area but that website's store locator has Canadian Tire, Lowe's, Sears, Home Depot and Walmart that pop up a lot. There were a few names that I didn't recognize, too.
Maybe someone here has already seen it in store. If not, those are some good places to look in.
Good luck! Looks like an awesome tool.
Edit: Home Depot and Lowe's might be your best bet judging by their sites.Last edited by Slayer; 10-07-2012, 04:03 AM.

Thanks, I'll have to check that out. Another option (probably better for my purposes - comes with a pouch to keep everything together) is their golf club cleaning kit (same tool, except green housing instead of grey/black with a label that has a picture of a jack-o-lantern). I know where I can get the rechargeable version (pet nail grooming kit - grey/black with a label that has a picture of a dog's paw print), but the "AA" operated ones (especially the pumpkin carving kit) are likely to be significantly cheaper.Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
