I met my husband while we were students at the local junior college. He was a math tutor and I was an English tutor/note taker. We hit it off fairly quickly and started dating. A few months later, we got into a fight and broke up. We didn't talk for about a year or so and then one day, (I don't remember what triggered it) we got back into contact. It's been an interesting ride, but we eventually went from friendship to a serious relationship. Don't get me wrong. It hasn't been all perfect, but he's helped me through some very dark times in my life and I've tried to do the same for him.

I envy you. I wish I could say I was truly single and could do things like speed dating and whatnot, sounds like fun.

That being said I met my ex and my current bf online through the same chat bbs (before the internet). I have known them both for over 20 years.
