Hey, I've been reading this forum for amusement for a while. I'll be adding some of my own stories soon. I do a few things, but mostly I paint buildings. There are a lot of crazy people out there, and sometimes, they need their houses painted just like anyone else.
So I sometimes find myself up against by weirdos in their own dens.
I'll tell you about it eventually.

Welcome aboard mr d. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that much of the suck reactions involved in painting is the labor cost? Like, "OMG, the paint was expensive enough...!"

Vent away whenever you're ready.

There's a little of that, but not too much, we submit quotes ahead of time so people know what they're getting into. If someone has issues, there can be a little flexibility in a number of cost related factors, and if they still have a problem with the cost, I just don't have to do the job. Of course, problems and disputes can occur on the back end, but those usually get fixed. I've never had to drag anyone to court or be dragged there.
I do see a lot of weird stuff, though.
