Hello, all. I've only been doing customer service full-time for a few months now, but I've dabbled in it for about a decade.
I used to work for a clinical lab, as a floor manager in the specimen prep area. As the only one in the department willing to answer the phone (I kid you not), I wound up doing a lot of accidental CS work.
Then I got laid off, and had to go look for something else to do. Silly me, I got into doing CS as a full-time gig. I now work for a large mattress company, one that does a lot of infomercials and such. As such, I deal with unreasonable customer expectations 40 hours a week, in a call center.
It's actually a pretty great place to work... if it wasn't for all the customers.
So... hi.
