Hello, I'm glad that I found this site. I may have some stories to share after I get caught up reading what is already posted here. Please forgive me for not telling who I work for at this time, as I just found this site, and I want to read more before I feel safe about saying where I work. Just for starters I will say that most of my customer contact is rather benign, but the ten percenters spoil it for everybody else. When I see a customer approach me now, I just cringe and try to look away and hope that they really are not going to talk to me. Usually it turns out OK, but when it goes badly it is usually one for these pages. I can never judge when a customer contact is going to be painless or painful. But for now, I have some catching up to do . . .

We generally suggest that people do obfuscate where they work in this age of multiple search engines etc. The Cursing out Coworkers and Morons in Management sections are safe from search engines, but not from anyone registering, logging in, and reading. It's generally safe to say you work in a Mickey D's in a large city, as there will be dozens of them, but if you're working in Harrods or similar, take extreme care.Quoth rentedmule View PostPlease forgive me for not telling who I work for at this time, as I just found this site, and I want to read more before I feel safe about saying where I work.
