Hi All.

I've been lurking here for a bit, and decided to join.

In the course of my job, I very rarely deal with the public. However, I volunteer a lot at sci-fi/fantasy cons, and usually end up in situations where I'm interacting with the paying attendees.

My experiences there made me realize that while I *could* work retail, it's probably better for everyone if I just stay chained to the lab bench.

It was really thrilling to meet him this past March. I had to go off afterward and have a quiet fan-girl moment.
