Hi everyone!
I've been visiting now and then for years whenever I needed to relax a bit with other people who feel that CUSTOMERS SUCK! I'm not a people person at all and I truly admire those who can deal with all the rude and abusive behavior that a nasty customer will dish out and not come home feeling like a squashed roach at the end of the day.
In my long and illustrious career I have done work as a front counter person, an appointment scheduler, a telephone company operator, tech support for an ISP, a delivery person, maintenance and repair, gas station attendant, and just about every other type of customer-oriented work imaginable. I tend to be grouch and a smartass when sucky customers push me too far and more than once I've had a supervisor tell me, "I'm sorry, but you're really not suited for this type of work." Perhaps not but I still have to make a living and considering the pay rate of some of those jobs I have to say that the reward of tweaking an idiot customer was well worth the loss of the job.
Cheers,
Kadrian
