Hello, I just registered for this forum, as I'm always up for a chat about working in retail, a field which pays so little and offers so much soul crushing in return.
I work in a East coast-based craft store, in which I have the pleasure (?) of being a front end supervisor (re: glorified cashier) and department manager (re: glorified stockboy). It's not bad, and I've had my fair share of pleasant memories while working there, but it certainly does make for some good reading material.
I look forward to being a part of this fine establishment.
