I have been a reader of Customers Suck for lo these many years now, but mostly just a lurker. I have not worked in retail for some time, but I still find the forums a great source of amusement, and enjoy getting angry on behalf of the people who have to put up with all this stupidity.

When I /did/ work retail I clerked at a grocery store and worked behind the customer service desk. Am I the only one who has nightmares about customers lined up beside my bed wanting me to ring them up? Sometimes I wake up and I'm trying to use my alarm clock as a cash register...
