  • Ladies, gentlemen, and those of you that's in between...

    Hi there!

Norwegian male here, got a girlfriend, no known offspring.

I'm currently a seismic observer trainee on a seismic vessel, too far down on the food chain for the customer, or client as we refer to them as, to even notice.
So no SC stories about that. Probably won't get any either (If those words doesn't magically create any sucky incidents, nothing will).

I discovered CS a few years back around 2002-2003 I think, I remember red borders here. Read some highly entertaining posts, but had nothing to contribute with of my own. Still haven't got much, used to be an electrician, but mostly worked at construction sites and doing maintenance at office blocks, where the people I dealt with were all decent people, at least they were to me.

Had a short stunt as a cable guy, but still without encountering any really sucky ones. Hardly any weird ones either.

Then I was employed by a very small company making electronic things, where I would do assembly, QC, installation on customer sites, monitor some customers sites, and also in general be "young person to do the allround miscellaneous stuff the older or people with back problems couldn't do, at least not alone".
I had a great time there, and I'm still helping them out when I can.
And yeah, all clients were decent people here too. Maybe I'm a SC repellant?

While I was working there, I had a couple of leaves to be with the army in Afghanistan as an electrician and general purpose uniformed sack of potatoes. Here, some of our contractors could be worth mentioning, at least those who went from being a PITA to a source of amusement in the end.

After rediscovering CS may this year, and lurking since, I felt I should have the decency to register so I could at least add to the member mass.
Maybe even post some replys here and there.
