What kind of retail do you do? And what do you pedal?

I work for the Big Smiley (W-M), and I pedal a mountain bike, built myself from the frame up.

Since I work for 'the bad place', I get a lot of igno's who think the only diff between WM and the bike shop is price; trust me when I say, if you don't already know, the diff is the same as that between soap box derby and BMW!

For example, it's now 786 times (by ACTUAL COUNT!) that I've answered the question, "Does this come in any other color?"

Truth: good luck getting a color choice on a bike that costs less than $700....

Bookstore, I keep it in my head; for some reason, numbers file away in my memory almost like in a hard drive -- there was a period of 6+ months between 732 & 733, and I had no problem recalling where I'd left off.

Welcome! I greatly look forward to your tales from the Big Smiley. They will never hire me. In the past I was under experienced. Now I am over educated. I only know the horrors of the big box store by my friends who work for them.
