Let me tell ya'll a little about me. I've been working with customers (and SC's, of course) for about 7 years. While I think there are plenty of cool customers out there, alot of customers are jerks. This instant-gratification, narcisstic, ITS ALL ABOUT ME attitude society has adopted oftentimes leads to trouble--especially for anyone in the hospitality business...some customers I've encountered truly are monsters, lol.
I've worked an array of customer-contact jobs over the past few years--restaurant server, grocery checkout girl, etc. My last gig was as a cashier for a US chain of restaurants known for their "home cooking", rocking chairs on their front porch (hint, hint) and "country" ambiance. After a two-year break, I find myself back on the frontlines, this time as a restaurant hostess, while I finish college.
While I dont have any current horror stories yet, I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time.
