A Not-so-new Staples Drone

Hello!

I've been reading/lurking for a while and have finally decided to join. So I guess I should tell a little about myself first.

I'm a Staples Drone Employee from Florida. I've been in the same store for nearly 19 years (egads!) except for one year I spent at a different store (that's a story for some other time). Needless to say I've seen MORE than my fair share of sucky customers. Heck, I've been dealing with sucky customers since software came on 5 1/4" disks, printers had ribbons and people used Prodigy and Compuserve instead of the internet.

Now I feel old.

Let's see... I've worked in just about every department in Staples including:
Stock (back when we HAD dedicated stock guys)
Supplies (aka Office Supplies)
Machines (aka Office Equipment... the geeks)
EasyTech (geeks with screwdrivers)
Machines Lead (aka Office Equipment Lead... head geek)
Customer Service Lead (CSL aka Keyholder aka manager-lite aka StoreB*tch, where I am today)

The only thing I don't do is Copy Center which is the equivalent of being sent to Siberia without the benefit of cooler weather (I'm from Florida, remember).

So I guess I shall start sharing my takes both old and new, so forgive me if they sound familiar. 18 Black Fridays will do that to anyone.

Familiar? There's always some new way of sucking. I can name one other Staples employee here immediately, and I'm sure we have a few more.
