My roommate was actually the one to turn me on to this site, some months ago. Recently, I've been trying to convince him to get an account here rather than dump all his workplace issues on me, but he's still just lurking.
The place I work for is not bad as an employer, and I'm not, technically, in a customer service position. Granted, conditions could be better, and I'm sure I'll have ample to share, in return for all the wonderfully cathartic hours this site has provided. Plus, I HAVE had some customer service positions in the past, and for some of the worst employers in the history of the Universe, so it's not like the well's dry.
Of course, I'm only doing the gainful employment thing until the world finally recognizes my unmistakeable genius and my career as a writer takes off. It's been 22 years so far...what? Hope springs eternal, does it not? And mine has only been springing since 1986, so it has a lot more springing to do. Meanwhile, that windmill over there looks a lot like a giant; I'd better do something about that.
Love, Who?
