  • Hi! from Belgium

Hi everyone, Carolaaine here, from the glorious nation of Belgium. Well not so glorious nowadays (What GEC?)

I have posted a few replies around the boards, and tried to post a thread here once (but it didn't go through although I could already reply without a moderator "checking" my text).

So here goes: I'm 20 years old, I live alone, which is very uncommon in Belgium at my age.
I study French-Italian language and literature in the university of Ghent. I've tried working full-time, part-time, temp, you name it, so I have seen my fair share of SC's and EW's.

I'm unemployed for the moment because nobody wants to hire a student except for the university. And that means cleaning up the crap my fellow students leave behind after lunch. Not that I mind cleaning, it's just that they are PIGS (maybe thread-worthy).

Right now, I have exams (only 5 of them, I'm a lucky bastrd) so I'm a bit stressed out en CS.com is were I come to relax, laugh,....

Thank you everyone for making my day better!

Come on in and pull up a thread of your own! I've over the channel in the UK. We have a few Finnish folk, and I know of at least one German, and there are a few more Brits around the place. Mostly you'll see Canadalandians and Americalandians here.

Must admit, your English is good. Welcome aboard!

Thank you very much for complimenting my knowledge of the English idiom ( did I went a bit overboard there? )

This is only because we (Dutch speaking folks) don't have a lot of shows in our own language and they're mostly in English and subtitled...
