I freed myself from normal retail about five years ago, and now I make costumes for a living. I answer to no one, so I have some freedom in telling off idiots. But there are some downsides too. I can't pass off some particular idiocy on anybody else, for example.
But by and large it's an awesome job.
I specialize in making mascot suits, so I work with the furry fandom a lot. Contrary to certain sensationalist rumors, most of my customers are really awesome people. But there are always a few bad apples, and BOY are some of them doozies. I'll probably be sharing a few of my stories shortly. Thought I'd come and say "hi" first though. *waves hi*
