    Hello from good old Germany

    Hiyas, everyone. I have been enjoying this site quite a lot, so I thought I'd register.

    While technically not involved with customers anymore, I did have quite my share of 'em when working part time when I still was a student...

    However, even though I'm working in chemical plant design at various contractors' sites (usually a quiet enough office job), said contractors' stupidity and/or delusions of entitlement can be quite as... interesting as your general run-of-the-mill retail customer.

    Oh well; I don't want to rant on and on... when I find the time I'll share a few gems I encountered so far.
    I still miss my ex.
    But my aim is getting better.

    Oh I love Germany! I visited Köln back in 2005. It was a couple months before the Pope visit so there was a lot of constuction by the Kölner Dom. But it was still a great city to visit. Much cleaner air than what I'm use too.

      *laughs* Thanks for the warm welcome.

      Actually, I fled the area when the Pope visited. The field was about 10 miles away from my parents' home, and the gajillon of people flocking to the area, plus the extra bonus security... well; thanks but no thanks.
      I still miss my ex.
      But my aim is getting better.

        From what I remember from being an Army brat that was stationed in both Augsburg & Graffenfeir (sp?) it was a wonderful place. Very beautiful.

                Excuse my terrible spelling! I don't have my manual handy!

                My husband and I were blessed to visit Germany and Austria last year. I'd go back in a minute if I could!
