Wow... What a great site! I really should have come here while I was still working in the hotel business. They say it's bad to dwell on negativity, but it would have been comforting to come here sometimes and commiserate a bit.
My tales of workplace woe aren't as colorful or as violent (I am -very-grateful for this...) as others I've read here. For me the customer suckiness just took the form of condescending digs, insults, accusations, temper-tantrums and general high-handed imperiousness. Hardly lethal, but exhausting and demoralizing at times.
While I'm not working right now, I figure I can at least send some sympathetic vibes to anyone still out there in the trenches so to speak... Then, once I'm working again, I'll have things to complain about and be able to participate properly...
