I always come to these boards when I need a good laugh, so I thought it was about time that I joined myself.
I'm a freelance artist, which is its own special sort of nightmare job. I love the work, but I hate the customers. People tend to abuse you as much as they can, because they know that the job you're doing for them is often the majority of your paycheck for that month and therefore you'll have to put up with it. Half the time they cancel the job when you're almost done, and then you don't get paid. Ugh!
I'll probably be posting some of my own horror stories, and some of my mother's from <bookstore> as well. (She doesn't know how to use a computer. Sometimes I read her stories from here to cheer her up when she's had a bad day at work, and then she shares stories with me from her own job.)
