Hi all!
I have been lurking for quite a while, especially from the ofrifice [TM]... time to start butting it.
My name is Marco, I am 35, Italian-born but resident of Scotland. Further details when and if somebody cares, during my hopefully long and entertaining time here.
For what concerns the job-ular activities... I am a... wait, I need to check... "Technical Support Specialist for a multi-client company". Which means that I take phone calls and answer to e-mails from customers of multiple companies: an on-line accessories shop for a certain... urm... device for which we only provide retail-related support, a major electronics company for which we provide in-depth technical support (but only for certain products), a toy company for which we also provide technical support on the electronic parts and a software company (retail and installation). Thankfully we got a good and thorough training.
In the past I've been an agent, a trainer and a team leader in a database maintenance center, a language teacher (of Italian in Scotland and of English in Italy), a steward/bouncer in a club, a sound technician for live concerts and events, a (seasonal) waiter/barman in an open-air restaurant, a parking-lot attendant (not for long as I really hated that job), a mover (not for long either) and a furniture salesman. All of those jobs have their fair share of SC's, as you might imagine...
I know I will be welcome here
Talk to everybody soon!
