Long time lurker, new poster
I've been lurking on and off here for the past two years. I forget how I found the place, but I remember reading the forums a lot when I was sick and bedridden; the crazy stories cheered me up when I was feeling rather blah. I came back now and again during my job hunt to take my mind off of things and remind myself that essential unemployment might not be all bad. 
But now I'm not unemployed. At least, not for the next few months. I got a seasonal job at a big electronics retail chain here in the States, and my training starts tomorrow. So, I figured now was a good as any to officially take the plunge and join... As I'm sure even if I don't become full time after the holidays, I'll at least have some interesting stories to tell in the next few months.
