    Hello thar! Long time lurker, newbie joiner. I work tech support for a satellite television company (its a rather Direct company), and, well, the shere number of sc's I get in a day is simply disturbing. I think I'll have plenty of stories for ya, and will rather enjoy being here I think. ^_^

    As an introductory, heres the first installment in:

    &%@* I Hate Hearing!

    "But it worked yesterday!!!!!" (when told their problem is not satellite related, but tv/dvd/something else)

    Really? This doesn't help. At all. It does not matter that your tv was working yesterday, it is not working today. And no, NOTHING in our equipment can cause your tv to physically not turn on.

    This makes my eyebrow go into spastic rage twitch mode.
