Im 25 and work graveyard shift at a service station, so i get to see some real dregs of society. I hate customers, im really not a 'people person' and have trouble hiding my disdain for some people...I shouldn't work in customer service ...

Judging by the terminology, you're Australian/New Zealand? (we refer to gas/petrol stations as "service stations or "servos" over here, not sure if it applies to the US)

In the U.S., it's usually the gas station or the C-store (convenience store), service station sounds prissy to me. Servo sounds like this dude.
