I'm Emerald, I live in Surrey, UK.

Admittedly, I've only worked in retail (more specifically, a cinema) on and off for just over 4 years, but that in itself has given me plenty of experience in customer service, and what people expect of them. I also will probably have more experience down the line as I work towards finding a more stable occupation for myself.

Generally, I enjoy helping people out, but sometimes, I admit, there are people I have to call out, so hopefully I'll be able to share this with people.

In case anyone was wondering, the name stems from the fact that I'm part Irish (good ol' Emerald Isle!) and the fact that my name is one of many variants of Joan, so I jokingly say I was named after Joan of Arc XD

I think that you'll find that whether we are in retail or not, there are an AWFUL lot of jobs out there (and I do mean awful) where we have to deal with the public, and if not customers then clients or some outside parties who do sucky things.
