Hello, I'm new

I've been visiting this site for a few months now; found the link on the "Red Tape Chronicles." The article was actually interesting, it was about 'winning customer service phone battles.' That in itself was hilarious.

Anyhoo, I've worked in Customer Service most of my adult life. Waitress, Dispatcher for a national moving company, CSR in a national loan company-the one with the little umbrella ... and now this job, CSR for an online shopping membership. We're an office that takes customer calls, and fulfills merchandise orders. Thank God there's no face-to-face time with these oh so much fun customers! I've gotten so jaded, it's not even funny. I don't believe any thing that customers say. Before I even read an email, or take the occasional supervisor call, I know it's going to be a lie.

Have I got some horror stories for you! I'll be sharing them soon.

Oh, I remember that article well. We were a touch cautious to begin with, but it was a good one.
