Long story short, we got hacked again. We almost had things up and running again, when Raps discovered a rootkit on the server.
At some point, he started asking us about other board software, and myself and a couple other mods recommended VBulletin. And that brings us to where we are to day.

No idea - probably someone trying it for financial gain and not caring who they hit. They just wanted zombie PC directed to their marketing shit.
