So I go to a 24-hour gym and am usually there in the early un-staffed hours (I go there after I'm done with the paper routes). Hubs is with me on the weekends. There aren't many people at that hour but those that are there are a fairly regular crowd.
The other day Hubs and I went in the afternoon during staffed hours because we had a question about our account. The lady was super friendly. She was all "How's my early morning warriors? I know that's my favorite time of morning too, especially since not a lot of people know I work here. Though I've been skipping lately and doing DVDs at home..."
We chatted, we got our questions answered, it was nice.
Except that, while she clearly recognizes me and Hubs and knows when we work out, I didn't recognize her at all.
Again, there's usually maybe half a dozen morning regulars and maybe another half dozen semi-regulars at most. There's only a small handful of women that show up, so you'd think I'd remember her, but I don't.
The next morning I had another lady ask if I always worked out in the early mornings and we chatted a bit. She apparently recognized me enough to know I'm usually there at that hour but again, I think I saw her maybe once before, like a month ago.
Is everyone just hiding out and taking notes on my workout schedule or something?
