This happened about 11 years ago, but still makes me laugh. I was taking the state boards to get my nursing license. Needless to say, I was nervous as hell. At the testing site, they scanned your fingerprint as an ID prior to and after the test. The lady checking me in asked me to scan my index finger, and I just kinda stared at her blankly for a few seconds before asking "Which finger is that?". I'm sure that looked really good-me trying to pass nursing boards and not even knowing what finger to use .
