So when someone makes a donation, we have this thing here in Britain called 'Gift Aid'-if you take part then the nice government gives the charity some of the tax back as a rebate. If someone's already signed up, we scan their card which brings up their number, and then type in the number of bags of donations they have given. It prints one ticket for each bag given.
Easy... until some doofus
accidentally scans the card twice,which instead of just entering their number, also enters it for the number of bags donated. This is a ten digit number, so it thinks that a billion bags have been donated-and is printing a ticket for every one of them!
Fortunately, turning the printer off stopped it.....and then they disappeared when we started it again...
