MC: male customer
FC: female customer, MC's wife or girlfriend

Both approach the kiosk

MC: I'd like a hot dog, and a drink and blah blah.
Me: serves hot dog, drink, etc.
Me: There's ketchup and mustard just there. Points to sauce dispensers.
MC: gives hot dog to FC.
FC: Which did you want, mustard or ketchup?
MC: I bought it for you.
FC: I didn't want to it.

I turn away and

Yeah it's a brain burp because it wasn't desired... but change the outcome a bit more positively (have her say it giggling), add some sappy music and you have a scene right out of a romantic comedy.
