A Funny One from Today

I was out for a bit of air at lunch when a group of Middle School students were getting off their bus to visit the museum. They were a pretty orderly bunch but, like all kids that age, they were talking and laughing.

They were lined up right outside the doors to go in when the teacher, in a voice that almost shook the foundations bellowed,

QUIET!! IT"S LIKE A LIBRARY!!

I just thought the whole scene was funny.

Must admit, it gave me a grin. Nice to know they're being taught.

Oh, yes. Most of the classes that visit the museum are very good once they get inside. The Education department has educators who are very good with a variety of age groups. Most of the educators are in their 20s so there isn't that much of an age gap. During the Summer they even have a High School group that escorts the Middle School kids and the tweens think that is sooo kewl.
