We have a gas station/restaurant combo store. Each side has its own door and an opening between the two sides.
A older lady fills up her gas, and then walks into the restaurant. She comes up to the till like she's going to order some food and then says "pump 1".
We say, the gas station is on the other side. There's no way to pay for the gas on the restaurant side, because the till is not connected to the Ruby system.
She seems confused at first, and then goes through the opening to the gas station to pay for her gas.
