and they were taking it out on our poor customer. When I ask for the license plate info, they write down, GFY ###. I had to keep a straight face, but being that I spend enough time on forums and MMO's, I found that string of letters hilarious.

I saw one once that said 'YNG JEDI'.
Mine would be better, it would say "JDIMSTR".
My husband wants one that says "SDF-1".

I saw a dark-colored SUV in Utah with plates that took me a moment to parse. Utah style is ### ###, though I can't remember where the letters and numbers typically fall in that arrangement.
This SUV had plates that read, in standard Utah format, BLK PRL."Enough expository banter. It's time we fight like men. And ladies. And ladies who dress like men. For Gilgamesh...IT'S MORPHING TIME!"

I see I'm not the only one who appreciates the classics. For those wondering why this would be an interesting plate, two of the most famous epics from ancient Greece are by Homer, the Iliad (about the Trojan war) and the Odyssey (about Odysseus'/Ulysses' journey home from it, also the name of Honda's minivan).Quoth sms001 View PostAsk and ye shall receive....
OT, but I wonder why car makers don't check out what their names mean. The marketing department at Toyota must have been asleep at the switch, because Sienna is an earth pigment that gets its colour from hydrated iron oxide - in other words, rust.Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
