If I swap a shift it would be good to remember doing so

I turned up to work today only to find the girl who works wednesdays telling me that I'm not supposed to be in. She asked if I remembered that we swapped shifts so I was meant to be in on wednesday instead, so I'm standing there trying to recall this happening, and then all of a sudden I remembered!

We swapped shifts as she is taking an exam at University tomorrow and I completely forgot.

All I could say was "oh, I do now" and left.

Wow, atleast it wasn't like you had swapped the day previous to your normal work day, that could have been disastrous!

Hee, I did that. Did my coworker's shift, then showed-up several days later for my shift, only to have him come-in.

As it turned-out, it was lucky I was there as another coworker was late!
