I will never understand why I have guests that come up to me late at night & tell me where they are going or that they are guests...etc

Tonight:

I was cleaning up the lobby/panty for filler time before I do all of my paper work.

SC: male, guest



SC: (had just been on lobby guest computer, and I knew he was there...I don't care. People do what they need to do. At some point he had gotten done & was starting to walk down the hallway to the rooms) Hi!
Me: (a little startled) Oh! HI! *smile*
SC: (stops in his tracks) *blinking at me* I am staying here. I am just going up to room XXX.
Me: Okay...
SC: *still looking at me* Just in case you were wondering what I was doing up at such a late hour; I am staying here.
Me: Okay...that's fine. I see people all night many nights.
SC: *smiles weirdly at me & walks off down the hallway*


I know you flipping people are staying here! People who aren't staying here & just wonder in tend to act...suspicious.

This type of annoucement happens off and on. I will greet people coming throught he main doors, they will give me serious looks, walk up to the desk & declare, "I am a guest here, I really am!" and walk off.

Holy poop! I usually already know, cuz I have already seen them leaving or around the hotel already. --wow--
