This was just too damn funny not to share.
I'm guessing the same is with all drive thrus, that when a car pulls on to the pad by the speaker, the input speaker comes on so we employees can hear the customer right away.
One customer today apparently didn't realize that.
She was either on her cell phone or talking to her passenger, but the first clear thing we hear two seconds after she pulls up is:
Customer: Holy fuck.
She said this kind of quietly, so we knew it had nothing to do with us. My two CWs and I just burst out laughing.
CW1: *turns on her microphone* Holy what?
Customer: Oh my gosh!!! I'm so sorry!!!!
She was highly embarrassed. CW1 told her not to worry, as we found it quite awesome LOL.
