Today I checked in a guest who called me by another front desk staff's name. Normally this doesn't bother me. But did he have to call me Stephanie? That name doesn't even fit my gender!

Nope. He showed no signs of being blind. No cane or anything. He walked right up to the desk.To right the countless wrongs of our days... We shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise...Oh, what a wonderful world such would be...

Maybe Stephanie is one of those names that used to be for boys and is now for girls, or it could be for both. My name is more common with boys but it can be used for girls.
Also my stepsister brought her friend Lynn to visit with the parents while I was there. It was the end of the weekend when I was informed that Lynn hadn't left before my stepsister and the guy with her was Lynn. How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

It's becoming more prevalent to see girls named masculine names--Michael, for instance--but I don't see it the other way around. We've taken everything now, haven't we? pants, jobs, and now names
"Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably

When I read this, all I could think of was :Quoth smileyeagle1021 View PostTalk about weird coincidences... right after I clicked into this thread I got a call asking if I am Abby... nope... not Abby, not even close...
"Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in?"
...
"Abby Someone"
"Abby Someone? Abby Who?"
"Abby...Normal"
Chocolate Chip mega cookie for the reference.
