smoking rooms

The rumor is we eventually won't have smoking rooms anymore, and mostly I am happy about this. About 5% of our yearly guests demand smoking rooms, but soon there won't be any.

I the mean time, I can't give the bastards away some days. Tonight we sold out of our two beds non smoking, but I still have some 2 beds smoking left.



WHY OH WHY do I offer these & nearly every SC that would have preferred a nonsmoking always asks, "Do they smell smokey?" Dumbass...they are smoking rooms!!!!!! "Do they smell badly of smoke?" Well... I have to tell them it really depended on the smoker previously. Some people have one smoke, others are chain smokers.

then of course, there's the multitude of SCs who specificly ask for a non-smoking room and smoke in it anyway.

Our hotel staff has actually been kicking it in the butt over that. They have been finding them quick & either warning them of the $200 charge or just charging then $200 if they have left for the clean-up fee. Go them!
