  • Guy thought token machine was a change machine

Guy walked up to the booth window, told me he put $20.00 in the change machine, but only got $15.00 back.

There is a change machine located inside the main bldg. on the 3rd floor, but it only takes ones & fives.

So at that point I knew he bought a $5.00 token. I asked him where he got the change. He said on the garage level where the glass doors are. That is where the token machine is located.

Luckily there was a token inside the booth.
*The exit gate was not working yesterday. The parking office had to raise it. Some people gave me their token after exiting*

So I showed the guy what he bought. He said "oh, I thought that was some kind of Canadian coin. I did not know what to do with it. I am parked at the meter parking lot. Do I use it there?"

    We are in the U.S.

I told him he uses it to exit Visitor parking.

I checked the token machine. Not a change machine is posted on the machine in white. I guess he did not see that.

He did not park in Visitor parking.

That is SO misleading! It clearly says "change machine" on the token machine. The fact that the words "not a" are in front of that bit of information is irrelevant
