I feel positively ancient
I have been employed at my store for over 22 years now.
Today, we were talking about something, and I was explaining to one of the young guys how one of our policies has always been from the beginning.
He was complaining about it, and I was explaining that I had been dealing with it from the start, and I didn't really see a problem.
He said, "Yeah, but you've been working here for 2 centuries."
Then, he stopped, did a mental rewind, and realized his mistake.
I laughed my ass off and said, "Did you mean decades?"
His face was pretty red, but he knew I wasn't mad.
He said, "I knew it was one or the other, but I forgot which was which.
