  • Lexmark isn't HP.

    I was walking past the ink section when I heard a guy in there say

    SC1: Hey, maybe we can ask this guy.

    Me: Yes?

    SC2: Yeah, we're looking for an HP cartridge.

    Good luck....you're in the Canon/Lexmark aisle, looking at Lexmark cartridges.

    Me: HP is in the next aisle.

    I walked over there since I was heading in that general direction anyway.

    They went in there, looked towards the HP ink, then turned around and started browsing the Epson cartridges.

    Me: HP is on this side *points*

    SC2: Oh, thanks.

    Me:

    Even if you can't read, basic pattern recognition should enable you to tell HP apart from Lexmark, Canon and Epson.

      Now you can explain to him that are different types of HP cartridges and that he needs to know his printer model number so he can buy the right one.
