wrong key card

This is a new one.

When working in housekeeping I had found other hotels' keys left behind, which is fine.

BUT

I was down the hallway when some guests dropped off their key cards at the front desk.

I get to the desk to discover that someone actually handed in another hotel's key card, with that other hotel's logo on it.

Do they honestly expect us to use it or for us to run it over to another hotel that bares this logo?????

Happens here all the time, too. Hubby likes to collect them, so I bring them home for him. Sometimes we'll also recycle them as master keys. Boss Man's master key is from our competitor across the street!
